I’m sure many of our readers grew up knowing about the ‘clean plate club’ right? This exclusive club was a kinder gentler version of the ‘you are not leaving the table until you’ve finished your dinner’ club. Given what my mother’s meatloaf and canned peas tasted like, I was more often a member 
I was going to title this blog, ‘Setting the Perfect Table’, but then thought, “how pretentious of me!” Who am I to tell anyone what’s perfect? Instead I thought I’d wax eloquent about various collections of porcelain or china (or even melamine and ironstone) that I’ve seen and lusted after. Lust for tableware? |
