A stunning digital print collection from BluGirlArt

The prints have myriad end uses such as fabric, dinnerware, or wallpaper.

In addition to creating her hand-painted fabrics, Suzanne recently worked with Brian Frodema, graphic designer to create her first collection of digital prints. She exhibited at the Fall PrintSource show in Manhattan, Some of the prints were sold to fashion companies like Banana Republic and Chico's, others were sold to a company that designs dinnerware, illustrating the diversity of the collection. After the show, some of her prints were chosen by Mudpie, a major UK trend forecasting company, as Trends to follow for 2010, quite an honor for a first collection.

The prints are created either from hand painted fabrics or from original hand drawn illustrations, which are then digitally manipulated. She also uses photography in her prints - as in her photo realistic botanical collection. She has a large collection of prints in many different styles from ethnic to Paisley. She also creates groups of prints which can be used to create a collection, as in the three-part Paisley prints. These, for example, could be used as a wallpaper and as coordinating fabric prints for upholstery or bed linens. — Photography by Dan Minicucci
