A very green countertop material from recycled stone scraps, glass and porcelain shards

Eco combines beauty, functionality and green properties. It’s a durable surface made of 75% recycled content from post-industrial and post-consumer materials, such as porcelain, glass, crystallized ash, and stone scraps.  Its bonding is an environmentally friendly resin derived in part from corn oil. In the manufacturing process, there’s careful control to avoid emissions of harmful particles; most of the water used is recycled; all minerals used come from quarries fully restored under strict stewardship programs.

The material provides high performance against staining, scratching, scorching. It’s non-porous and so doesn’t require sealers. Available at Lowe’s stores in 10 colors and a polished or matte finish. Sizes are a jumbo 63” x 128” and standard tile sizes.
